The Poor Peoples Campaign-Augusta is on the move. Our Coats for Comfort Drive was a success! We spread the word and good people answered the call from Nov 1-Dec 13th (and because of the generous donations of people like you, the University of Virginia, and Waynesboro Rotary Club) 150 coats, 200+ pairs of socks, 75 hats, 60 pairs of gloves, and 40 scarves went home with brothers and sisters who need them. Tonight we delivered to the Valley Mission in Staunton, Va. None of this could have been possible without the thoughtful support of people caring about others.. What a wonderful humbling experience. What a blessing to be a part of the Poor People's Campaign.
